Sahita and Poonam Ahirvar belonging to a Dalit family, suffer from physical disabilities. Under the Total Sanitation Program they were promised toilets if they along with 25 other Dalit residents dug holes in the ground which they did but no toilet was built nor were they paid for their labour. The village head is only willing to pay them less than that sanctioned by the government.
